Senator Ted Kennedy, that jolly, dim-witted alcoholic hero of the Democrats, got some notice in Carrie "Princess Leah" Fisher's memoir "Shockaholic." Fresh out of rehab, she and her date, Senator Chris Dodd, were joined by Senator Kennedy. "Do you think you'll be having sex with Chris at the end of your date?" asked Senator Kennedy, playing wing man for his drinking buddy. "No," said Carrie, "thanks for asking though."
